Tackling in Youth Football: AAP Policy Explained

In 2015, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) issued new recommendations to improve the safety of all players while on the football field.

In this video, Gregory L. Landry, MD, FAAP, one of the authors of the AAP policy Tackling in Youth Football, talks to parents about what they should know about football tackling and how to evaluate if the sport is right for their child, and at what level. ​
