Maneesha Agarwal, MD, FAAP
Dr. Maneesha Agarwal is an associate professor in pediatrics and emergency medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and an attending physician in pediatric emergency medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She is a funded injury prevention researcher whose work has focused on poisoning prevention, child passenger safety, teen driving, firearm safety, consumer product safety and adverse childhood experiences. Dr. Agarwal is active with the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention (COIVPP) as the vice-chair for Georgia's COIVPP, the national membership & newsletter co-chair, facilitator for the Trainees for Child Injury Prevention program, and the COIVPP subject matter expert for the AAP Center of Excellence: Creating Healthy Digital Ecosystems for Children and Youth. |
