Scott E. Hadland, MD, MPH, MS, FAAP
Scott Hadland, MD, MPH, MS, FAAP, is the Chief of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He holds triple board certification in General Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Hadland's clinical and research interests focus on adolescent and young adult substance use disorder prevention and treatment, and on improving care for youth and families affected by substance use. He is a member of the editorial board of
Pediatrics and was the 2020 recipient of the Emerging Leader Award in Adolescent Health from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hadland's research is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and American Heart Association, among other foundations. |
