FOCUS ON
WINTER WEATHER

A Note from the Medical Editor |
As the weather turns chilly, parents need to keep a greater eye on both the amount time their children spend playing outside and also what they are wearing.
Body heat is easily lost through the head and hands. So, as much as they may fight you on it, children should always keep their hats and gloves on when they’re outside.
Call them inside periodically to warm up….you can always entice them with a warm cup of hot chocolate!
Here’s to a happy, healthy and fulfilling 2013!
