How to Keep Children Safe in and Around Pools

​​​Drowning is the number one cause of accidental death in children between ages of 1 and 4. For every child in the United States who drowns in a swimming pool, five other children receive emergency room care for injuries suffered in a swimming pool.

In this video, Sarah Denny, MD, FAAP, an emergency room pediatrician at Nationwide Children's Hospital, offers tips for parents on how to keep children safe in and around pools.
